As with all of John’s Killer Protein products, the quality is outstanding. Everything is pure and processed cleanly. Makes great protein shakes. I happen to combine it with their Nightime Casein, even though that’s not the norm. But I drink a protein shake I make from scratch with their products at least 3 times a week as my first meal of the day. I am not weight-lifting right now because of recovery from surgeries. But I couldn’t go without consuming my delicious protein shake 🙂
Here is my recipe: In a blender put 14 oz of certified spring water, 20 g Lean blend, 20 g Nightime Blend, 2 Tbsp organic, unsweetened cocoa powder (Lake Champlain cocoa is my favorite brand) and blend, then add 2 Tbsp organic grass-fed Half & Half milk, a couple of medium strong squirts of NOW organic Monk Fruit sweetener, a couple of squirts of one of Monin’s new sugar-free TruFlavour sweeteners – my favorite flavor choices at the moment are Hibiscus and Coconut and blend, then add 1 organic banana (75g appx), 40g organic blackberries, 40g organic blueberries and 75g organic strawberries and blend and then add 6 ice cubes made from certified spring water and crush them in the blender and pour into a 20-24 oz plastic chug bottle, and enjoy. Appx 400 cal, 42 g Protein, 46 g Carb, 7 g Fat *and* 45%-50% of necessary daily calcium <–thanks to the quality of John's Killer protein powders. Most friends I make it for love the taste.

This protein is amazing. It mixes easily in a shaker bottle. I mix it with unsweetened vanilla almond milk. I like that it’s easily digested and doesn’t make me feel bloated or full of gas.
