As with all of John’s Killer Protein products, the quality is outstanding. Everything is pure and processed cleanly. Makes great protein shakes. I happen to combine it with their Irish Whey Lean Blend , even though that’s not the norm. But I drink a protein shake I make from scratch with their products at least 3 times a week as my first meal of the day. I am not weight-lifting right now because of recovery from surgeries. But I couldn’t go without consuming my delicious protein shake 🙂
Here is my recipe: In a blender put 6 oz of certified spring water, 20 g Lean blend, 20 g Nightime Blend, 2 Tbsp organic, unsweetened cocoa powder (Lake Champlain cocoa is my favorite brand) and blend then 2 Tbsp organic grass-fed Half & Half milk, a couple of medium strong squirts of NOW organic Monk Fruit sweetener, a couple of squirts of one of Monin’s new sugar-free TruFlavour sweeteners – my favorite flavor choices at the moment are Hibiscus and Coconut and blend, then add 1 organic banana (75g appx), 40g organic blackberries, 40g organic blueberries and 75g organic strawberries and blend and then add 6 ice cubes made from certified spring water and crush them in the blender and pour into a 20-24 oz plastic chug bottle, and enjoy. Appx 400 cal, 42 g Protein, 46 g Carb, 7 g Fat *and* 45%-50% of necessary daily calcium <–thanks to the quality of John's Killer protein powders.

The cleanest animal based protein powder on the market. It digests incredibly well, I have used it exclusively for almost 2 years now. Perfect for anyone looking for a clean protein powder to supplement a clean diet!

I searched for the best. This is it. I like simple. I have found the right protein to compliment my routine. Bulletproof.. Heart and Soil, whey and lean protein and this perfect dinner protein for those who work later and need a light feel on their stomach an out before bed. 😊

Don’t buy this for the taste… it’s unsweeteend and unflavored. with the dolce flavors this becomes a godsend! even with just plain honey and a sprinkle of cinnamon it’s delicious. By itself, out of the bag, it’s very clean and very, very filling, but the taste is bland and something you’ll just chug and move on. overall a great and clean product… I would buy again because it makes me full at night and I wake up no hungry.

First time trying casein, and I now I can’t go to bed without it. No aftertaste and smells clean!

Love the texture and how you can add anything to it and get that taste.. flavorless with no bad aftertaste…
Stephen Rinaldo – Verified Customer –
This is basically flavorless so I used to add my own sweetener which I like, but now it’s even better sweetened with their flavor sticks..

Great for pudding. It’s unflavored so you need to add to it since it’s not filled with any additives and other junk we shouldn’t put in our body..

Great Protein !! I have tried a ton of protein powders JYM, DYAMTIZE, MP(MUSCLE PHARM), MUSCLE MILK, etc…you name it and I probably tried it at one time or another. But ever since I started reading labels and educating myself on the ingredients I have been looking for a clean protein but haven’t found anything until JOHN’S KILLER PROTEIN – NIGHTIME BLEND. Seems like every protein has sucralose, soy lecithin, sunflower lecithin, maltodextrin, gums and whatever else they try to put in it. But JOHN’S KILLER PROTEIN is simple with only 1 or 2 ingredients that you can actually pronounce and this blend is unflavored.
I put 1 scoop in my smoothie along with the other ingredients I use and I am good to go ! I have a NutriBullet that I use to blend it up so its mixed well and I dont even taste it. Definitely recommend this for anybody who is looking for a good clean protein to add to you daily nutrition. So here is what I use in my NutriBullet smoothie with the 32oz tall cup:
6 or 7 ice cubes
I cup Almond & Coconut Milk
1/2 cup Greek yogurt
2 tsp Cinnamon
2 tsp Stevia
2 tsp Sun Is Shining (green powder by SUNFOOD)
1 scoop JOHN’S KILLER PROTEIN – NIGHTTIME BLEND
2 TBS Coconut Oil
3 oz. Triple Berry Mix (Strawberry, Blueberry, Raspberry) Great Value Brand sold at Walmart
Water
Blend and enjoy !!

I’ve tried many different casein products, but this is by far the best, in my opinion. It isn’t the greatest tasting, but it gets the job done without the BS fillers or gmos. I only eat organic, so this was perfect for me.

Amazing how they made the casein. This company is all about best quality ingredients! if you want sweetness you will need ot add something to it to get it sweet (I Use a few drops of stevia)… it is so good. I am a fan!

I purchased this at a tasting event and love it… it makes a little thicker of a protein shake, so you may need to add a bit more liquid than usual. but the taste is clean and you can definitely tell it’s good quality Protein. no aftertaste. on my third day and I drink it nightly
Patrick Miller – Verified Customer –
Best tasting casein.. made pudding with just almond milk before bed and I am addicted! Recommend this brand for sure.
Kylie Germanos – Verified Customer –
Great Product…You just have to know what you’re getting, This is not flavored and not sweetened so it is clean and bland by itself. Which I love by the way! who needs a bunch of junk in a protein product…don’t expect a lot of flavor, but you will get a great Protein with the best amino acid levels I have seen. It tastes like whatever you add to it, so I add a little bit of fruit and it’s great that way… I will buy again and I recommend this to anyone looking for a great natural Protein.

Great protein. I recommend it
Ryan Evans – Verified Customer –
Good casein product.Tasted cleaner than most casein powders I have tried and its about 87% protein which is more compared to some others. I will for sure buy this again.

I recommend the Nighttime Blend. Great idea, to leave the milk protein as they are. perfect mix of Casein for overnight healing/recovery. Only bad thing about this is that it needs more liquid to blend/mix. A little more than John’s Killer Protein Whey Protein blends. three scoops with 1 cup of Milk got really thick. I added another 1/2 cup to get it perfect. Great taste with a little Honey. Perfect product. I highly Recommend this. Tammy 🙂

Your casein saved me! I Need casein before bed to keep me from waking up hungry in the middle of the night.. couldn’t find one I liked till
Now… best casein out there! Thank you, and yes, I will buy again.

I used the bullet to mix it and it was good, but does not blend well in shaker bottle as expected with casein. It does have a pure taste and you can tell its all natural. Will buy it again.

Best tasting casein.. made pudding Recommend this brand for sure.
